What stays in your browser

Everything you type into the calculator and the tracker: sex, age, height, weight, body fat, activity level, goals, saved baselines and the weight and calorie log. These are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device, are never sent to this site or anyone else, and are deleted when you clear site data or use the tracker's "Delete everything" button. A "Copy link" button creates a URL that contains your inputs; share that link only if you are comfortable with the recipient seeing them.

What is collected

• Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and learn which features are used (for example, that the activity helper was opened or a baseline was saved). Google Analytics may set cookies and receives information such as approximate location, device and browser type and pages viewed. It does not receive the values you type.
• Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply.

Your choices

• In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default.
• Elsewhere you can block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• The calculator works fully with analytics blocked.

What is not collected

There are no accounts, no email list, no forms other than the calculator fields, and no selling of personal information. The site does not show advertising today. If advertising is added, this policy will be updated before it goes live and, where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent.

Children

The calculator is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. The equations are not validated for children.
